The article examines issues related to digital transformation as a process of using digital technologies to transform existing traditional and non-digital business processes and services or create new ones in accordance with an emerging market and customer expectations, which completely changes the way of managing and conducting business, as well as how value is delivered to customers. As technology advances, so does business. Now, we are not talking about enterprises that have decided to transform; it's more about deciding how to transform. While each digital transformation initiative has its own specific goals, the primary goal of any digital transformation is to improve its market position. Digital transformation is important because companies must evolve to stay competitive in their industry. The authors also consider issues related to changes in the main priorities of SMEs and the state in the era of digital transformation, as well as problems associated with ensuring the achievement of national goals and sustainable business development using tools for digital transformation of SMEs and the set of knowledge that business needs today to be competitive tomorrow.
