The article examines the trends in the influence of digital technologies on the transformation of the labor market and employment. The risks of introducing digital technologies and rapid technological changes associated with job cuts in traditional industries and the need to retrain personnel are revealed. Along with this, positive aspects of introducing digital technologies are identified, including increased productivity, optimization of logistics and production processes, as well as the emergence of new jobs in software development and data analysis. Attention is paid to ethical and legal challenges, such as discrimination in personnel selection and the protection of personal data. Based on the consideration of international experience (USA, Europe, China, South Korea), which allows comparing strategies for the development and regulation of the labor market, options for the successful implementation of digital technologies in industry, transport and the financial sector, and agriculture are revealed. An assessment of the prospects for the development of the Russian labor market is presented, taking into account digital technologies, emphasizing the importance of an integrated approach: educational reforms, legislative regulation, support for small and medium-sized businesses and ensuring social protection of workers. The results obtained can be used by government agencies, educational institutions and companies to formulate policies aimed at the effective and responsible integration of digital technologies into the country’s economy.
