The article provides a brief historical background on the emergence and development of transnational corporations, then reveals the features of digital transnational companies, as well as their differences from traditional ones, and presents their classification. Indicators are given to assess the level of internationalization used in international reporting, as well as the latest indices compiled on their basis. In addition, trends and features of the development of digital companies engaged in foreign expansion are presented.
