Lord Byrons sycle "Hebrew melodies" in the creative interpretation of D.L. Mikhalovskiy

The article presents the analysis of the translations of Lord Byron's selection of «Hebrew Melodies» into the Russian language, created by Russian poet and translator D.L. Mikhalovskiy. It is noted, that in spite of natural addition of his own thinking elements, conditioned by personal features of the translator, the analyzed translations are characterized by attentive, careful attitude to the English originals, most possible preservation of the peculiarities of Lord Byron's creative manner.
