Cyclic reproduction of social trends in the theory of generations of V. Strauss and N. Hove

In the article an analytical review of modern theories of cyclic reproduction of characteristic social trends is made. As a theoretical basis, the article is based on the theory of generations of V. Strauss and N. Hove. The author proceeds from the position of cyclicity in changing the most widely represented tendencies, but he takes into account the unevenness of social transformations in contemporary Russian society. In the center of research attention is a generation, taken as an ideal type, but correlated with modern realities.
