Cyclicity in the development of historical science of the XX-XXI centuries

The article analyzes the main views of researchers on special feature of the social nature of the mining population of the Urals, as well as on the history of relations between the authorities and the Ural workers in the first two ten-year anniversary of the XX century. The main discourse takes place between the supporters of the view of the Ural working as an integral part of the Russian proletariat, which had no property and fought primarily for their political rights, and researchers advocating the opinion procrastinator the nature of the Ural worker. Differences in views between the participants in the discussion are primarily ideological in nature, specifying a different assessment of the nature, driving forces and leader of the revolutionary movement in Russia in 1917. The analysis of the development of historical science in Russia in the XX-XXI centuries has allowed the author to come to the conclusion that between dorvalsy district, Soviet and modern periods there is not only cyclic-ness in the formulation of specific research problems, but also the continuity in approaches to their solution.
