Civilization values from the comparative perspective

The article discusses values in different civilization areas and interpretations. The authors designate considerable difference between the two types of axiological way of thinking. The first one deals with the formal sociological research of values, determined by certain ideological and methodological attitudes. The second type refers to the dramatic picture of the Russian people self-identification in the context of social and historical collisions.
