The importance of allergic diseases of the upper respiratory truct in the development of COVID-19

Based on the analysis of review of domestic and foreign literature, textbooks and electronic literature, the significance of the allergic state of the upper respiratory tract in the development of COVID-19 was analyzed. In patients with allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, mucanasal (barrier) immunity is weakened thereby a person is less protected against the virus.
