Color and its influence on the emotional background and human psychology

In modern science, the direction "Personal security" is actively developing, one of the components of which is psychological security. In modern scientific literature, the concept of "mental health" has become widespread. Scientists have long proven that color exposure causes certain changes in the tone of the autonomic nervous system. Currently, high school students are exposed to a complex of neurotic factors. At the same time, the possibility of correcting their emotional background by the student himself with the help of color therapy techniques is poorly covered in the literature. The author conducted a study on the influence of color on the emotional background of a student among 11th grade students. The use of color electronic notebooks developed by the author in the experiment showed multi-level connections of color with the emotional background of a person, his psychophysical characteristics. It is confirmed that the color evokes welldefined emotions. Recommendations were developed on the use of color therapy techniques for students in everyday practice.
