Roma: the traditional culture and the contemporary world

The article identified a number of issues specific to the Roma population, and sets the task of finding their solutions. The different approaches to the implementation of national and cultural interests of the Roma people in public policy are represented. It is analyzed the idea of creating an independent Roma monoethnic state. It is concluded that the causes of the problems of the Roma population are rooted in thw cultural patterns and outlook of this people. As a first approximation the basic archetypes of Roma culture are considered.
