Dmitry Likhachev on the relationship of values, economy and culture

In the article the approach of Academician Dmitry Likhachev to the culture as a spiritual continuum of discovery and preserve the values of human existence is examined. The reflections of the scientist on the priority of cultural foundations and morality in relation to the economic activity of the Russian state are studied.
