A good many events from the crucible past of the Soviet Patriotic War are still unknown. The events of the troubled years are not limited by the military campaigns. No less important is to look closely at the everyday life of the ordinary homefront people, who were not working at big factories, but at the same time contributed greatly to the nearing of the victory. The article is dedicated to the corporate activity of the Marti’s fishing collective farm situated in Nemyatovo village of Novoladoga district. The Ladoga fishermen continued their business in immense complexity of the Soviet Patriotic War. Being close to the battlefront, they worked as best as they could. All of them were Soviet people and for that reason their everyday routine was blended with high ideology. This is evidenced by a large scope of materials preserved in the Leningrad’s District Archive in Vyborg. The archive materials are introduced into the scientific circulation for the first time.
