«De conversione vero saracenorum nulla scritura loquitur»: Humbert of Romans' Viewpoint on the perspectives of conversion of Sarrasins

The work is devoted to the analysis of the treatise «About the preaching of the Holy Cross against the Sarrasins» written by Humbert of Romans, in 1254-1263 the grand master of the Dominican Order. The attention is focused on his opinion about the perspectives of conversion of the Muslims into Christianity. In contrast to the contemporaries, he tells that there are no any perspectives of such a conversion.
