Deformation of a rod compressed by a longitudinal force under rigid constraints on displacement with various boundary conditions

The paper considers the problem of determining the elastic line of a rod compressed by a longitudinal force, located between two rigid walls. The dependence of the elastic line and the values of critical loads on various boundary conditions is studied. Exact solutions of the problem in a nonlinear formulation are obtained.
