Strain aging of low-carbon pipeline steel 06G2FB is studied by comparing steel properties before and after treatment including cold plastic deformation by pressing or rolling and low-temperature heating. It is established that the steel with ferrite-bainite structure has significantly greater tendency to strain aging than that with ferrite-pearlite structure.
