Degradation of elites as a factor of the crisis of Ukrainian statehood

The article is devoted to the political processes in Ukraine. From the perspective of the theory of elites the authors justify the idea of the degradation of elites in the process of political transformations in Ukraine as a factor of its destabilization and one of the reasons of the current political and economic crisis.
