Activities of circumpolar countries for the development of sustainable tourism in the arctic region

This article is devoted to the review of Danish, Icelandic, Canadian, Norwegian, Russian and U.S. activities in the Arctic region, which are aimed in almost all cases only indirectly at the development of sustainable tourism. The strategies, resolutions and statements on Arctic policies of these countries are investigated. The article presents the materials on practical measures and results of circumpolar countries’ activities.
