Work of cultural centers of Volgograd aimed at conservation of the historical memory of the middle of the 1960s – the middle of the 1980s

The article deals with the activities of the cultural institutions of Volgograd directed to the conservation of the historical memory with the introduction to the science of the data of the regional archives. There are revealed and analyzed the basic forms of the work of the cultural institutions with the population concerning this direction. There is demonstrated the historical experience of the implementation of the state policy in the cultural sphere aimed at the protection of the cultural heritage and conservation of the historical memory
