Activities of the Chinese consulate-general in Irkutsk in 1926

Events related to opening and activities of the Chinese Consulate-General in Irkutsk were covered on the basis of the archival documents of the State Archive of Irkutskatya Oblast. Chronological period is from January to August 1926. The problem is considered in the context of Soviet-Chinese relations during the above-mentioned chronological period. A general assessment of interacting of the consulate with local authorities is given.
