Activities of the largest Protestant associations in the Republic of Korea

The article examines the current development of the South Korean protestant organizations. The South Korean Protestantism has a strong position in the social space. Currently, there are four largest Protestant associations that shape the political agenda among South Korean parishioners, which are divided into liberals and conservatives. Recently Protestantism in the Republic of Korea faces the problem of decreasing scale of parishioners. As a result, it gains less money and is losing its impact on current agenda. Nevertheless, protestants are ready to fight for the Christian values in order to spread its influence among the younger generation. Firstly, they want to be able to give religious education to kids, secondly, to support traditional families in order to increase birth rate in the country.
