Activities of the non-governmental organizations: assessment by population

The article analyzes the results of the social research aimed to assess people's attitude to the activities of the non-governmental organizations in the Yaroslavl region. The author considers valuation of the nongovernmental organization phenomenon, areas and results of their activities in the region. The findings of the 2012 research are compared with data of the similar study carried out in 2011.
