Activities of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducting investigations in electronic format

Introduction: the article is devoted to the review of the activities of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan that investigate criminal cases in electronic format. Materials and Methods: the material basis of the study was normative legal base of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulating the activities of law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation in electronic format (government programs, laws, Criminal Procedure Code of Kazakhstan, acts). The methodological basis of the study was the general scientific dialectical method of cognition of the laws of objective phenomena and processes of reality. In the course of the study, a set of general scientific and specific scientific methods was used, such as comparison, analysis, synthesis, formal-logical, structural-functional. Results: a study of the activities of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan that investigate criminal cases in electronic format was conducted; a number of proposals for improvement the legal mechanism of this activity was formulated. Discussion and Сonclusions: the author came to the conclusion that the mechanism, algorithm and specifics of the activities of law enforcement agencies in pre-trial investigation of criminal cases in electronic format is of interest to Russia and might be put into police practice.
