Activities of the mediation service on the basis of a vocational educational organization: regulatory and legal aspect

The problem of finding innovative mechanisms for resolving conflict, disputable, and other negative situations between the subjects of the educational environment is now increasingly falling into the field of view of researchers. Mediation technology is considered as one of such mechanisms, i. e. the possibility of resolving disputes by the parties themselves with the assistance of a neutral and independent person - a mediator. The article analyzes the normative documents regulating the organization of the activity of the mediation service and/or the conciliation service on the basis of a professional educational organization. The main attention in the article the author focuses on the normative substantiation not so much of the very possibility of creating and functioning of a mediation service in a college / technical school, but on such functional areas of its work as creating a safe environment for an educational organization that is favorable for the development of an individual who is able to make decisions and be responsible for their own deeds; fostering a culture of constructive behavior in a conflict based on a mediative worldview, positive communication, respect, openness, goodwill, mutual acceptance of each other.
