The activity of economic criminal courts during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) (based on the materials of the Altai territory)

The article examines the features of the procedural activity of the courts of the Altai Territory during the Great Patriotic War in the consideration of criminal cases of economic crimes. The analysis of the Decisions of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the USSR regulating certain issues of qualification and sentencing in cases of this category is given. The order of generalization of judicial practice by the Altai Regional Court has been studied in order to increase the effectiveness of preventive work and, in general, the fight against crimes in the field of economics. The procedural violations that are most often committed by people’s judges when considering cases of this category are identified.
