Given the wide spreading of sunflower hybrids resistant to herbicides of different groups (IMI, SU) the volunteer problem becomes increasingly important. Lancelot 450 completely eliminates sunflower volunteer resistant to imidazolinone and sulphonylurea whereas other herbicides are ineffective against it. Moreover, this herbicide has soil activity against weeds during 4 weeks. As a result of researches on evaluation of soil effect of herbicide Lancelot 450 on sprouting of resistant IMI sunflower hybrid, it was established that during the droughty weather the product has soil impact on the sprouting with biological efficiency up to 45 %. The sunflower sprouting obtained after herbicide application fall behind in growth and the plants organs and apex are deformed. The maximum soil efficiency of the product is observed after precipitation.
