We studied the optimal concentrations of copper and zinc fertilizers for presowing treatment of seeds of winter soft whear, which improve theit sowing qualities and growth activity of seedlings of the crop. Zinc (ZnSO4 • 7H2O) and copper (CuSO4 • 5H2O) microfertilizers have a versatile effect on the control samples. At 0.005 % concentration of Zn and Cu, the activity of seed germination was significantly improved to 54.9 and 56.5 %, laboratory seed germination was increased to 94 and 95 %, seed germination rate was up to 3.2 and 3.4 days, germination uniformity was up to 8.7 and 9.2 pcs/day, respectively. Under the influence of Cu t04 • 5H2O containing 0.5 and 0.05 % Cu, the length of seedling rittr tended to decreate, but at a concentration of 0.005 and 0.0005 %, this indicator significantly increhred. The average dry weight of roots at a Zn concentration of 0.005 % was the highest - 1.98 g, which is 1.84 g higher than the control. Presowing treatment (if seeds ot writer toft wheat with a water solution of CuSO4 • 5H2O or ZnSO4 • 7H2O containing 0.ft 5 % Cu ot Zn improves the sotting qualities ot seeds of the crop, which will subsequently allow realizing the genetic potential of the high-yielding variety of winter soft wheat Bezostaya 100, widely used in grain production.
