«Democracy» and «change» as key concepts of British political discourse

The article focuses on the analysis of modern discourse of British politicians which incorporates concepts as its basic cognitive projection means. The discource-oriented cognitive analysis deals with the processs of meaning transformation in key ideological concepts: «democracy» and «change». The analysed concepts are regarded as structures formed by different feature types representing cognitive (notional), axiological and imagery aspects.
