Demographical situation and social work of organs of power of Republic of Buryatia on its optimization

It was made analysis of demographical situation, arised in Republic of Buryatia in the last ten years of XX and the beginning of XXI'th century. Government's measures for its optimization were inquired; evaluation of its efficiency was mentioned. Servey showed extremely decreasing of population because of low birth-rate and increasing of death rate and also migration flow-out of population from Buryatia to other regions. Main reasons which determinate such unpleasant process and revealed positive tendencies for changing the situation during 2005-2008 as the result of improvement economics are described.
