Demographic Attitudes of Student Youth as an Object of State Policy

The article analyzes the demographic attitudes of Russian students. The content and main directions of demographic policy implementation are defined. The main blocks of work are devoted to the analysis and interpretation of the results of the author’s crossregional study of demographic attitudes of student youth. It is concluded that at the moment, modern students have negative demographic attitudes. The lack of highquality government work in social networks has been identified as a barrier to the correlation of public policy goals and demographic attitudes of young people. The authors emphasize that the influence of social networks on youth attitudes, not just demographics, will only intensify in the future. It is proved that the state needs to develop measures to preserve the health and beauty of expectant mothers, as this is the main fear of girls before having children. It is noted that demographic attitudes are not rigid regulators, and they, like any other attitudes, are subject to the transformative effects of socializing agents.
