Demographics of russian business enterprises: some facts and comments

The article describes statistical data characterizing the dynamics of the main demographic indicators of Russian business organizations (birth rates and official liquidation rates, as well as the combined coefficient of change in the total number of organizations calculated on their basis). The author concluded that Russian business is experiencing a deep and protracted crisis in its development. This crisis may be further exacerbated by the growing epidemiological risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen measures for state support of domestic business.
