"Day of defender of the Homeland" on the pages of the history of its institution: in the context of patriotic education of the personnel of the internal affairs bodies

The article presents an analysis of certain aspects associated with the formation of a new Soviet type army, originally referred to as the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army. Specifying the process of the historical dynamics of the establishment of the army state institution, the authors trace the history of its creation, confirmed by the necessary historical evidence in the form of specific documents. According to the authors, the review proposed by them is aimed at solving the issue of historical education of the personnel of the internal affairs bodies, by definition, designed to solve the essential issues of protecting the Fatherland and various kinds of «internal disorders».
