Deontological culture of education manager: the context of development

One of the topical issues for many countries is the problem of improving the substantive and methodological basis of courses of education managers’ professional development and professional retraining. The modern Russian society make high demands to the level of professional and ethical communicative culture of the educational institution Heads (Director of a comprehensive school, College, and others). The article substantiates the necessity of developping the deontological professional-communicative culture of Heads of educational institutions in the system of professional development and professional retraining. The article reveals the content, structure, levels of development of deontological professional-communicative culture of the education manager in the real administrative and pedagogical practice. The authors argue that this culture of Heads of educational institutions depend on their professional ethics, moral values, on the level of their individual culture of personal and business communication. The article describes the content and stages of the developm28ent of deontological professional-communicative culture of the education managers at courses of professional development and professional retraining. The article also considers the theoretical and methodological foundations of pedagogical deontology, which are the basis of substantive and technical support for developing professional communicative culture of education managers in the system of additional professional education. The article presents the results of years of authors’ work as lecturers of courses of professional development and retraining of education managers.
