Delivery of passenger carriers access to railway infrastructure

The article presents the main indicators of the Holding: revenues and expenses from passenger transportation. The factors of supply and demand in the market of passenger rail transportation in suburban traffic are proposed. It is revealed that the main problem of JSC Russian Railways in terms of passenger traffic is the steady loss of suburban traffic. Therefore, a method has been proposed for a complete separation of the activities of carrier operators and infrastructure managers, for example, the UK and Sweden, which reduces the costs of an infrastructure company for unprofitable passenger transportation
