Descriptors of professional competence development in teachers' advanced training system

Components and characteristics of the professional competence of the teacher are discussed in this article. The descriptors that define the learning outcomes at different levels in the European qualifications framework, adapted and supplemented. The level of development of the professionalism of the teaching staff is monitored by the system of postgraduate (additional) education. The author describes the components of the descriptors of different levels. Knowledge, skills and competence are included in the structure descriptor. The author identifies their key components. The competencies are grouped into three blocks: core, General professional and special professional. The author formulates a generalized model of qualification requirements to professional activity of pedagogical workers on the basis of analysis of works by Russian and Ukrainian scientists. The materials will be useful for mapping criteria and tools for monitoring the quality of training courses and all the system of additional professional education. The author gives charts and tables for easy comprehension.
