Desmoid tumor of the mediastinum: a 6-year clinical follow-up after the combined modality treatment: a case report

Extra-abdominal desmoids are tumors with borderline biologic behavior and tendency to frequent local recurrence. The paper presents a case of successful treatment of this rare tumor with involvement of mediastinal structures. The combined modality treatment resulted in 6-year disease-free survival.
