Destructive changes in tissues of brain in experimental chlamydiosis of rats

Бесплатный доступ

Experimental chlamydiosis of rats is accompanied by inflammatory changes in the walls of brain vessels. Chlamydia, penetrating through the structures of blood-brain barrier initiate damage of neurocytes and glial cells, which causes specific encephalitis. The appearance of neurological symptoms in animals with chlamydiosis directly depends on the destructive changes occurring in the brain.
