The article solves the problem of forming value orientation in the educational process through the didactic resource of the discipline of philosophy. The idea is substantiated that the disclosure of the content and deep understanding of the concept of “freedom” in the coordinates of the theoretical and epistemological ideas of B. Spinoza are of current importance for the self-realization and achievement of success of modern youth in the conditions of an innovative economics.
