Determinants of negative (illegal) behavior of a person

In this article, antisocial behavior is considered by the author as an independent social phenomenon, its role in the process of cognition of crime and criminal behavior is noted. The assessment of the importance of moral and spiritual values, the state of moral education is given. The obstacles that do not allow to fully analyze the determinants of the phenomenon under consideration are identified, due to the lack of an unambiguous interpretation of the concept of antisocial behavior and the specifics of its statistical characteristics. At the same time, similar criminological characteristics with crime, its causes and conditions, classification, as well as the characteristics of the criminal’s personality are revealed. Conclusions are drawn about the relevance of studying the determinants of antisocial behavior, which, according to the author, covers a wider range of tasks than the fight against crime.
