This work is devoted to the study of subject-professional identity (SPI) of future psychologists of the Department of Internal Affairs with the aim of providing targeted psychological support for their professional training in a departmental educational organization. The article reveals the concept of professional identity proposed by L. B. Schneider. Subject-professional identity is determined by the consistency of all structures of the psyche and the identity of a particular subject in the process of implementing professional activities. Based on the methodology for the study of professional identity (MIPI), developed by L. B. Schneider and taking into account the psychodynamic self-structural concept of the personality of G. Ammon, a psychodynamically oriented personality questionnaire (POLO) «Resource» was developed for the study of police officers. With the help of POLO «Resource», the opportunity is realized to study the deep structures of the psyche (self-functions), which make it possible to study the unconscious mechanisms of professionalization. Also, professional identity integrates in its structure individual indicators, such as vitality, value orientations, features of the development of social intelligence, as well as personal and professional qualities that tend to form and develop. The article describes the results of a psychodiagnostic examination of cadets and students studying at different courses of a departmental university, specializing in performance psychology. A description is given of a four-factor model obtained on the basis of a factor analysis. It includes the determinants of the resource of subjective and professional identity of future psychologists. Each group of factors determines one or another aspect of subject-professional identity. The results can be used in the framework of the psychological support of the educational and professional activities of future psychologists of the Department of Internal Affairs in order to form a constructive aspect of subjective and professional identity.
