Children and women as objects of protection of international humanitarian law

The article identifies the features of the participation of children in armed conflicts as of objects and subjects of violence. International legal protection of women is analyzed through the most common form of violence - sexual violence. Special attention is paid to the protection of women by analyzing the necessary conditions for the detention of women (from the civilian population and internees) in custody.
