Children with delayed mental development: features of text activities

The article deals with the issue of the peculiarities of the textual activity of children with mental retardation. The author presents the results of studying the textual activity of younger schoolchildren with mental retardation. Based on the data obtained, an approximate content of correctional work on the formation of textual activity using a workbook has been developed.
