The article presents the results of research on methods for the neutralization of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine in animal products. As a result of literature review, it has been shown that 1,1-dimethylhydrazine and its derivatives are extremely toxic compounds in relation to various types of animals and plant organisms. It can enter the body through the respiratory system, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. The research was carried out in a specially equipped laboratory and at the clinic of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Technology (located in Nur-Sultan); in addition, all the samples were sent to the laboratory of the Republican State Enterprise - Science & Research Center “Garysh-ecology” (located in Zhezkazgan) in order to determine the residual amount of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine in rabbit muscles.
