The article shows the process of creating preschool institutions on the collective farms as one of the insufficiently studied aspects of the daily life in the 1930s. The author proves that during the collectivization kindergartens, day nurseries, playgrounds and rooms appeared everywhere in collective farms. These kindergartens, nurseries, playgrounds and rooms were basic elements of labor daily life. Children's day nurseries functioned directly at the field camps, and so women - collective farmers with infants could work actively. The Soviet power made every effort to involve women in the social production process and to use their labor abilities.
