Children’s tourism as a direction of creative activity: regional cases

Today, in the era of active development of creative industries in tourism, there are creative tourism programs for children, performing a wide range of national tasks for upbringing, education, recreation and health improvement for children. They have a multi-purpose character and fulfil educational, scientific, methodological, tourist and social functions. The methodological basis of the research is oriented to the study of the phenomenon of children's tourism in Russia. The article analyzes the normative-legal base of children's tourism. The study presents the scheme of children's tourism management system in the Russian Federation. The conclusions are drawn about the multilevel nature of children's tourism management in the country. The author analyses children's tourism registers. The article contains analysis of regional cases about creation of actual demanded, qualitative and safe tourist products in children's tourism. The author identifies the directions of creative activity in children's tourism programs. The author proposes immersive variants of organizing activities related to creative industries for children in the framework of tours and excursions, among them: making traditional souvenirs, cooking local cuisine, playing national musical instruments, etc. It is compiled and systematized the list of activities. The author also compiles and systematizes the list of children's tourism programs at the regional level through the example of Rostov region. Special attention is paid to the issue of "thematization" of tourism space for children as a means of classifying programs, attracting the attention of target audiences, increasing information accessibility, as well as growth the frequency of children's travelling in the context of the formation of educational space based on tourism.
