The child-adult community involves the interaction of two groups of people: children and adults. Of great importance for a child is spending time together with parents, solving household problems, when the child realizes his significant contribution to the common cause, which will help not to be afraid of problems in independent life, but to solve them with enviable patience. A special place among preschoolers is occupied by children with developmental disorders, namely children with mental retardation (MDD). As a rule, the inclusion of such children in social life is painful. For a child, the closest adults are undoubtedly the parents, but they spend about 10 hours in kindergarten, thus teachers also fall into the category of significant adults. Family and kindergarten are two parts, a single space of developmental and educational influences on the child. In the article we will reveal the features of the formation of social activity in children with mental retardation during participation in child-adult community events organized in a preschool institution.
