Diagnostic and prognostic role of metalloproteins in acute appendicitis

Contemporary recognized approaches of clinical examination of patients with acute appendicitis fail to establish an accurate diagnosis as well as the level of pathomorphological modifications in vermicular appendix. Correlation between clinical aspects and level of morphological disorders is often difficult to detect. Laparoscopy is the most informative technique to identify acute appendicitis condition before the surgery, although its application is limited by anatomico-topographic location peculiarities of vermicular appendix.
