Diagnostic value of hematological parameters of sows as a factor in the development of antenatal malnutrition of piglets

The results of hematological studies of sows, including morphological and biochemical parameters on the basis of which two groups of animals were formed (control and experimental), revealed iron deficiency anemia, possibly contributing to the development of antenatal fetal malnutrition. In the studied animals of both groups there was a disproportion in relation to calcium to phosphorus, the cause of which may be disorders due to endocrine regulation.
