Diagnostics of value orientations in the context of study of professional adaptation of public civil employees

The formation of values is an integral attribute of organizational culture, setting the vector of social and psychological adaptation of new employees, maintaining a professional interest in work among experienced civil servants. A diagnostic study of the value orientations of civil servants will reveal possible key problems in the motivational sphere that complicate the process of their professional adaptation or adversely affect the efficiency of work. The study identified an important direction in the work of the personnel service of state institutions: the development and implementation of a set of measures aimed at forming a socially active position among employees. The respondents’ expectations and values in the professional sphere are not limited to material remuneration, as well as career growth and achievement of status in society. A favorable factor for the adaptation process of young specialists is the perception by civil servants of the value of professional interest in researching new, project and creative activities.
