Diagnostics and treatment of esophageal achalasia

Experience of treatment of 105 patients with аchalasia aged from 18 till 73 years is presented. There were 19 patients with the first stages of diseases, 37 patients with the second stage, 25 patients with the third stage of disease, 23 patients with the fourth stage of disease. Balloon dilatation is executed to 83 patients. Rupture cardia at performance dilatation has occurred in 2 patients. Proof clinical disappearance of dysphagias was received in 76 patients after cardia dilatation. Extirpation of gullet with one-stage esophagoplasty is executed to 30 patients. Complications in the early postoperative period have arisen in 3 patients. The remote results of esophagoplastic are estimated in all patients in the course of dynamic supervision and correction of pathological conditions within the period of 10 years. The stenosis of esophagogastric anastomosis with occurrence of dysphagia has arisen in 10 patients, pylorospasm was found in 2 patients. All pathological conditions were corrected at endoscopic interventions. No complications were found.
