Diagnostics and treatment of hypermetropia in children with tuberculosis

In order to establish the frequency and clinical course of hyperopia, 820 children with tuberculosis were examined. Of the 820 examined children with tuberculosis (470 boys and 350 girls) aged 5 to 10 years, 32 children were diagnosed with moderate hypermetropia, and 8 children were diagnosed with high hypermetropia. The main objective of the study was early diagnosis and treatment of hyperopia in children with tuberculosis.
